Since 1993 I have been collaborating with the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Eye Center located in Balmes 262 which is an Ophthalmological Institute that covers all the medical and surgical areas.

We founded In 1994 an NGO called Proyecto Visión www.proyectovision.org with several Ophthalmologists from all over Spain. Proyecto Vision works in the poor areas in the north of Ethiopia (Tigray). Proyecto visión is an NGO declared to be public interest. Its registration number in the association registry of the Generalitat de Catalunya is 16.435. Its mision is to significantly improve the eye health of the inhabitants of Tigray

Since 1999 I have been working at the Opthalmology Department of the Universitary Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol of Badalona, www.gencat.cat/ics/germanstrias where I am working in medical assistence, investigation and trainig doctors. Since 1998 we have been organizing meeting of Opthalmology in Developing Countries that is currently included in the Postgraduate Master Course in Tropical Medicine. www.medicinatropical.uab.es.
